In recognition of this work, Centum Foundation won the SIAM CSR Award 2026 under the Skills Development & Employability category for its HUNNAR – Automotive ITI Capacity Building Initiative (2024–25).

About the SIAM CSR Awards


The SIAM CSR Awards recognise impactful corporate and social responsibility efforts across four focus areas:

Following a detailed evaluation process, the HUNNAR initiative was selected as the winning project in the Skills Development & Employability category.

HUNNAR – Automotive ITI Capacity Building Initiative (2024–25)


The initiative was designed as a structured corporate responsibility CSR intervention aimed at strengthening public vocational institutions and improving industry alignment in technical training.

  • 60 Government and Private ITIs strengthened

  • 3 States covered – Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka

  • 4,208 students trained in core automotive and electrical trades


Infrastructure-Led Institutional Strengthening

60 Mahindra TEK (MTEK) Corners


These dedicated automotive training labs were equipped with:


  • EV cut-section kits

  • Automotive safety system modules

  • Industry-grade tools

  • Digital learning aids

  • Structured instructional material


These facilities brought real-world automotive workshop environments into ITIs, significantly enhancing hands-on technical learning and practical exposure.
