About the CSR’25 Award
The CSR’25 Awards acknowledge corporate social responsibility initiatives across India that demonstrate measurable impact, innovation, and sustainability. The Pankh category recognises programs that enable growth and opportunity by addressing critical social challenges through scalable and well-executed interventions.
Hunnar was selected through a multi-stage jury evaluation process that assessed program design, implementation quality, and on-ground outcomes.
The Initiative: Hunnar – Skill Development Program for Youth
Hunnar is a youth skilling initiative designed to equip young people with industry-aligned skills that improve employability and workforce readiness. Implemented by Centum Foundation in partnership with Mahindra & Mahindra, the program focuses on building practical capabilities that support sustained career progression.
The initiative combines structured classroom training, practical exposure, and employer linkages to help learners transition effectively from training to employment, particularly in regions with limited access to quality skilling opportunities.
Partnership and Implementation
The recognition reflects a strong implementation by Centum Foundation, bringing together corporate CSR vision and on-ground execution expertise. The program’s delivery model emphasises alignment with regional workforce needs, quality training delivery, and measurable learner outcomes.
At the CSR’25 Awards ceremony held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, the achievement was represented by teams from both organisations, underscoring the role of collaboration in advancing youth skilling initiatives.
