Program Objectives​

The initiative aimed to offer extensive training to more than 1000 individuals, specifically targeting the role of Sewing Machine Operator. This comprehensive training program not only equipped participants with the necessary skills and knowledge but also ensured their employment opportunities upon completion. By linking training directly with placement, the initiative aimed to empower individuals by enhancing their employability and facilitating their entry into the workforce as competent Sewing Machine Operators.​

Target Beneficiaries​

The program targets individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

  • Tracking the progress and outcomes of over 1000 individuals throughout the training and placement process requires robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.​

  • Placement assistance was offered to beneficiaries upon successfully clearing the final assessment and certification exam.​

  • Training: A blend of theoretical sessions and practical, hands-on learning in real-world scenarios, culminating in 1080 beneficiaries trained.​
  • Assessment & Certifications: Rigorous evaluation leading to NSQF-aligned certifications, emphasising the program’s quality and relevance.​
  • Placement: Strategic partnerships with corporations ensured meaningful employment opportunities through mock interviews and job fairs.

  • Training & Certification: 100% target achievement with 1080 beneficiaries trained and certified.​
  • Inclusivity: Surpassed gender and social equity targets, empowering 565 women participants.

    • Challenges & Solutions​

    Absolutely, robust mobilization drives were pivotal in ensuring that the project succeeded both in training and placements. These drives were aimed at meticulously identifying and recruiting candidates whose skills and aspirations aligned with the training programs offered, thereby maximizing the impact of the initiatives on their professional growth. Furthermore, a key priority of the project was to achieve a placement rate of 70% for all enrolled candidates, reflecting its commitment to not only providing training but also facilitating meaningful employment opportunities. ​
