Manisha Kumari is a 24-year-old woman from Rohtak, Haryana. After finishing her studies up to grade 12, she wanted to find a job to support her family. But even after trying hard and going to many interviews, she couldn’t find a job. Instead of giving up, she found hope in a program called Employability Enhancement Training/Program.

This program, run by the Rohtak Skill Development Centre with support from Mahindra & Mahindra and Centum Foundation, helped people like Manisha improve their skills to get a job. Manisha decided to join the program to learn more and improve her chances of finding work. During the training, she learned many things like how to organize herself and communicate better.

The trainers were very practical, giving her useful advice and experience that boosted her confidence in finding a job. After completing the program, Manisha felt ready to take on the professional world. Her hard work paid off when she got a job offer from Jaina Woolen Mills on January 2, 2024. This job wasn’t just about money for Manisha; it was a symbol of her strength and determination to create a better future for herself and her family.

With her monthly salary of Rs. 9,500, she can now support her family financially.
