His passion for Community Development was triggered as a youth, he was known for his developmental work and Social involvement right from his college days, where he had actively contributed his time and leadership in various youth and Social Development Organisations, his work was spread across the nation including the North East. Currently, Kiran spearheads transformative rural development initiatives atUnnat Bharat Abhiyan. This prestigious role leverages his extensive experience in leading impactful CSR projects. Before this, Kiran served as Sous Sherpa Civil 20 (an official engagement group of G - 20) and Senior Consultant at the National Commission for Schedule Tribes, contributing significantly to policy and development initiatives for tribal communities.

Kiran's leadership prowess also shone brightly during his tenure as CEO of ONGC Foundation, where he expertly steered a diverse portfolio of CSR projects with a staggering annual budget of approximately 800 crore rupees. His commitment to social good further shines through his past role as national Founding President of Youth For Seva, a testament to his dedication to empowering young leaders. He was a founder member of the Centre for Leadership and Management in Public Service (C-LAMPS) and was involved with Vidya Shikshana Seva Trust, Manonanadana, Nele Foundation, etc. He was on the project Management Team of the Karnataka Knowledge Commission. Member- Karnataka SkillCommission and Executive Council Member of VishveshvarayaTechnological University.
