Centum Foundation, in partnership with YES Foundation, continues its mission to bridge the gap between education and employment for underserved youth. At our Lehra Gaga and Moonak centers in Sangrur, Punjab, we conducted a series of pre-placement talks and third-party assessments aimed at preparing youth for real-world job opportunities.

This initiative is focused on training youth in key sectors such as microfinance, consignment booking, and data entry operations, providing them with not only theoretical knowledge but also hands-on, practical skills required in today’s fast-evolving industries. Our goal is to create a pipeline of skilled professionals who are equipped to meet the demands of employers.

As part of the initiative, we organized a placement drive with prominent companies such as Flipkart and Reliance. Out of the 38 candidates who participated in the drive, 30 secured employment at Flipkart in Ludhiana and 6 candidates were placed with Reliance. This success is a testament to the effectiveness of our training programs, which emphasize both skill-building and career-readiness.

The program’s impact extends beyond immediate job placements. It provides a platform for youth from economically weaker sections to improve their social mobility, contributing to their long-term career growth. The candidates who participated in the pre-placement talks received guidance on interview skills, industry trends, and career development, ensuring that they are not just trained for the present but are also prepared to adapt to future industry requirements.

This initiative is part of our larger efforts to drive social change by empowering youth through education, skill development, and employment opportunities. By consistently offering these platforms, Centum Foundation, in collaboration with YES Foundation, continues to make significant strides in transforming the lives of young people across India, equipping them with the tools they need to achieve sustainable success in a competitive job market.
