Centum Foundation, in partnership with HCL Foundation, is driving impactful skill development through the HCL UDAY IT Skilling Program. As part of this initiative, a special volunteer session was conducted at our Telangana skilling center, where Mahender Kasula, Manager, HCL Foundation, and eight HCL Tech employees engaged directly with trainees.

The session was designed to provide first-hand corporate exposure, equipping trainees with valuable insights on workplace expectations, career paths, and professional growth.

The volunteers interacted with the candidates, addressing their queries, sharing real-world industry experiences, and offering mentorship to guide them toward promising careers in Data Analytics and IT.

The ceremony featured skill demonstrations, where trainees showcased their technical proficiency, reflecting the hands-on training they received throughout the program. A powerful experience-sharing session followed, where select trainees narrated their personal growth stories, highlighting how the training had enhanced their confidence, refined their skills, and opened doors to career opportunities.

Currently, 60 trainees, over 90% of whom are women, are undergoing training in Python, Tableau, SQL, and Database Management under this program.

With a focus on practical learning and industry readiness, this initiative is creating tangible career opportunities for aspiring professionals from government welfare colleges.
