I am Gulnaaz Ansari. I am 25 years old, belong to Gola Gokarannath, Uttar Pradesh. I have completed my B.Tech (ECE) from Dr. Ambedkar institute of Technology for Handicapped, Kanpur Uttar Pradesh, With Information Technology stream in year 2021. Before I took admission in Engineering I had done Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Government Polytechnic, Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. I have done my School Studies from my Native Place.
As I was from ECE background with very basic knowledge of programming skills, placement was the biggest challenge in year 2021. Most of the companies were passive and not interested to hire fresh engineers from small cities. I was always passionate about my career and was not interested to kill my time. So, I started searching jobs in other fields as well.
We got the confirmation from our College TPO regarding CSR initiative of Capgemini for She ARISE 2.0 training which was women oriented and based on Full Stack Java course curriculum. I discussed this with my family and shown interest. My father allowed me and then I joined She Arise 2.0 training with Centum Foundation.
Although I was beginner but the whole journey was quite comfortable. Training was started from Scratch till advance level. Sessions were online but we never felt that we are not sitting in front of our trainer. It was my first experience of online training and was superb.
The best part of training was project, that helped us in understanding how to implement the programming concepts to solve the real life use cases. I represented project many times to Capgemini L&D team. Initially I was nervous but team was very cooperative and within 1 week I was able to communicate with them easily. Centum has good team of trainers and the way of delivering PDP sessions was remarkable. Before every Capgemini Drive, Mock sessions helped us a lot and because of that I was able to clear the Interim Assessment easily.
Faculties are experienced and supportive in every kind of Challenges. Soft skills and life skills modules are assigned through LMS and in form of workshops on weekends. This training is milestone in my career path and I am really happy as I am proudly Placed in Capgemini. I want to extend my gratitude to whole team of She Arise 2.0, because of their support, now I am in state to kick start my career. I have joined Capgemini Bengaluru campus.
In future I want to contribute towards women empowerment activities as well. I want to grow in Industry and passionate about learning new skills. At last I want to convey my best wishes to all juniors.
