Program Objectives​

The project’s objective was to provide job training to young adults aged 18 to 35 for the role of a Phlebotomist, with a target of securing placements for at least 70% of participants.​

Target Beneficiaries​

The program targets individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Challenge​

Since the training program spans approximately 1000 hours, it presents a challenge to retain students for the entire duration.​

Strategy​​

The project’s primary objective was to train individuals aged 18 to 35 years in the specialized role of a Phlebotomist. This focused initiative aimed to provide participants with the essential skills, knowledge, and practical experience necessary to thrive in this profession. By concentrating on this specific age group, the project targeted young adults seeking avenues for professional advancement and entry into the healthcare field. Through a combination of comprehensive training modules and practical learning opportunities, the project aimed to empower participants to embark on fulfilling careers as Phlebotomists, thereby facilitating their personal growth and contributing to the overall expansion of the healthcare workforce.​

  • Assessment & Certifications: Rigorous evaluation leading to NSQF-aligned certifications, emphasising the program’s quality and relevance.​
  • Placement: Strategic partnerships with corporations ensured meaningful employment opportunities through mock interviews and job fairs.​
