The Hunnar Skill Development Program, a focused initiative in collaboration with Mahindra & Mahindra and implemented at Govt. RITI Hathnoora, Telangana, recently held a convocation ceremony recognizing the achievements of 160 ITI students who completed their training in Assembly Line Operations.

Designed to meet the growing demand for industry-aligned skills, the program equips students with practical knowledge and technical proficiency tailored to the needs of the manufacturing sector.

Over the course of the training, students engaged in hands-on sessions led by experienced trainers and industry experts. The curriculum emphasized not only technical skills but also soft skills and workplace readiness—preparing them to confidently step into real-world job roles.

The convocation ceremony brought together key representatives from Mahindra & Mahindra and Centum Foundation, along with faculty members and local dignitaries. The event was graced by Mr. Avilash Dwivedi, General Manager – CSR, Mahindra & Mahindra; Mr. Ganesh K., Head – Manufacturing; Mr. Pradeep Goud Gundrathi, DGM – Admin Security CSR; Mr. Varun Ram, Corporate CSR BGM; and Mr. Sunil Sadangi, Admin. From Centum Foundation, Mr. Dhruv Mittal, Director, and Ms. Darshana Sawant, Senior Manager, were also present to address and congratulate the graduates.

In his address, Mr. Avilash Dwivedi underscored the importance of skill-based education in building a robust industrial workforce and commended the students for their dedication.

Throughout the event, students shared their gratitude to the trainers and program facilitators, reflecting on how the training had boosted their confidence, sharpened their technical expertise, and shaped their career aspirations. Many now look forward to entering the manufacturing sector, equipped with the skills and mindset needed to contribute from day one.

The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Darshana Sawant, who acknowledged the commitment of the trainers, faculty, and partners who made the program a success.
