Program Objectives​

  • To train and certify 500 underprivileged youths in job roles critical to IT Industry.​
  • To achieve a 70% placement rate among certified participants, prioritize diversity with an emphasis on female and male participants.

Target Beneficiaries​

Location: Hyderabad & Bangalore
Intending to educate candidates from EWS background targeting from IT background with a specific focus on guaranteeing 80% female participation by providing training in IT-related Domain. Targeted domain on which the candidates to be trained is Full Stack JAVA​

Challenge​

The key obstacles faced were encouraging an elevated proportion of female candidates to join, interaction between team and candidates through mixed training modes, candidate’s socio-economic backgrounds, community and familial pressures.

Strategy​​

In order to improve program efficacy and participant success, the strategy included providing flexible learning alternatives and life skills training, planning networking events and empowerment seminars, setting up feedback mechanisms, and recognizing participant accomplishments.​

Journey​

  • Mobilization: Targeted outreach in collaboration with local candidates, Educational Institutions, across Hyderabad & Bangalore in India.​
  • Training: A combination of theoretical workshops and practical, hands-on learning in real-world circumstances, with 500 beneficiaries trained.​
  • Assessment & Certifications: Throughout the training term, candidates’ knowledge improvement was tracked through frequent assessments, and a Final assessment to confirm their legitimacy as qualified professionals​
  • Placement: Through job fairs and mock interviews, strategic alliances with businesses guaranteed meaningful career chances.

Outcome​

  • Training & Certification: 100% target achievement with 500 beneficiaries trained and certified.​
  • Inclusivity: Surpassed gender and social equity targets, empowering 400 female and 100 male participants.

Challenges & Solutions​

The training timeline was modified in order to better accommodate the candidates’ training and academic commitments. Using a hybrid training mode helped to address problems with the initial training method.​
